RANDOLPH, Jan. 25, 2010 – Motivational speaker Dick Smith will offer to talks on diabetes this February and March.
Smith is speaking at Gifford Medical Center’s Diabetes Support Group on Feb. 2 and March 2 from 11 a.m. to noon.
The Feb. 2 talk addresses “Using Technology in Diabetes Self Management: Even if you don’t own a computer!” The March 2 talk is on “The Power of Thoughts and Beliefs” and will be a fun, interactive discovery of how ones thoughts and beliefs can contribute to successfully managing diabetes.
The Gifford Diabetes Support Group meets regularly, generally on the first Tuesday of each month, from 11 a.m. to noon in the hospital’s Conference Center. Gifford is in Randolph at 44 S. Main St. (Route 12) just south of the village.
