Lunch Menu

Gifford's cafeteria is open weekdays from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Delicious and affordable lunches are served from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Prepared by our professional chefs, meals are fresh and often incorporate local ingredients. In addition to the menu items below, we also have a deli, an amazing salad bar and feature Red Hen Bread for sale on Mondays and Thursdays. The cafeteria is also open for continental breakfast weekday mornings from 7-10:30 a.m. and hot breakfast from 7:30-9:30 a.m. Sandwiches, soup and often prepackaged meals and salads are available throughout the afternoon.

Are you kidding?! This place should not be in a medical center, but a café all its own! I've never had food this incredible in any hospital or medical center in my life. More than that, it compares very favorably against most lunch places I've ever been to, as well!  

Apparently, they are host to a few chefs from the New England School for Culinary Arts, or whatever the school is called. It shows. Day one: autumn harvest pasta with seasonal vegetables and a cider reduction. Say wha...? Day two: cream of onion soup with parsley oil and crab two ways.  

Okay, that's just insane. And so incredibly delicious! For breakfast, they have homemade granola and locally sourced yogurt with actual vanilla seeds. I was completely floored by the quality of the food. This was an incredible find, and I cannot wait to visit again in the future!

While visiting my friend in Randolph, I was a bit surprised when she and a buddy made excited plans to have lunch at the hospital. Hospital food? What, do they have the best Jello? Imagine my deep pleasure and surprise to find that this little gem is one of Randolph's best kept secrets (until now). I had a truly wonderful Nicoise salad ... incredibly crisp fresh green beans, tender yummy red potato quarters, capers, tomato quarter, greens and really delicious shrimp, all in a light well seasoned dressing, and the absolutely perfect serving size ... all for $5.50. Mind bogglingly good, well priced, and really delicious. I wish I worked next door. I would honestly eat lunch here every single day!
